Based on the highly popular ITV series, with great new music from Nick Lloyd Webber, this hugely entertaining musical reunites our favourite foodie friends as they are put through their Zumba paces at their local slimming club, whilst Kelly fantasises about fitting into the wedding dress of her dreams.

Written by BAFTA award winning writer Kay Mellor – creator of the original hit series –and with music composed by Nick Lloyd Webber, Fat Friends The Musical was produced by JASS Productions and Adam Spiegal Productions. Serving up the tasty treat of a feel-good night out for everybody, Fat Friends The Musical was packed full of fun and a huge hit!

The musical made its world premiere at the Grand Theatre, Leeds in November 2017, prior to a UK tour from January to June 2018. The tour starred Jodie Prenger as Kelly, Andrew "Freddie" Flintoff in his musical theatre debut as Kevin (alternating with Joel Montague in certain venues), Sam Bailey as Betty (Elaine C. Smith at certain venues), Kevin Kennedy as Fergus, Natalie Anderson as Lauren, Natasha Hamilton as Julia Fleshman and Rachael Wooding as Joanne.

Following the massive success of its first outing, the hit show returned in 2022 with a fantastic star cast of Lee Mead (Holby, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat), Sherrie Hewson (Coronation Street, Benidorm), Jessica Ellis (Hollyoaks), Angela Lonsdale (Coronation Street, The Syndicate) and direct from his acclaimed West End run in Hairspray, Les Dennis (Legally Blonde, Extras, Coronation Street).
